Synopsis: "Tom's Friend" is an alternative horror film unlike any of the major hollywood productions coming out in modern times. Rather than presenting the audience with explicit gore and surreal plot lines, Tom's Friend is a very real interpretive look on some of life's most horrifying situations. Based primarily around two individuals who find each other during a moment of crisis and have to decide whether or not they can trust each other, the film examines human interactions and reactions to some of life's biggest mysteries.
Set in Texas, but involving no chainsaws, this film follows Tom and his mysterious friend through Austin, bouncing between malls, bodegas, hotel rooms and locations that defy description. Tom's Friend is a film based around the concept of the unknown - confusion and intrigue are built up flawlessly in this production.
